The annual Kampala City Festival has turned into the biggest party on Kampala’s streets. It is a day the streets are turned into one big party with lots of entertainment on the menu.
This year’s three day fete kicked off on a high note with a charity concert that was headlined by Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz.
The Sunday event saw platinum sponsor, Bell Lager under the auspices of its music platform, Bell Jamz, put up a massive show for revelers.
Set at the National Theatre, the Bell Lager stage had the biggest number of revelers. DJ’s Ali Breezy and Crim set the pace for the day with their music mash-ups. Live performances from Ugandan artists kicked off shortly after 2 p.m. Performers included Sheebah, Ykee Benda, Mun G, Geosteady, Lydia Jazmine, Vinka, Fille, Winnie Nwagi among others.
Besides the performances, revelers also got a chance to spin the wheel and win lots of goodies from bell Lager. Those who were lucky to enter the VIP Tent were treated to a delightful meal and free beer.
