Before becoming Commercial Director at Uganda Breweries Limited, Edward served as Head of Emerging Business at Kenya Breweries Limited. In this role, he led the turnaround and strategic expansion of key portfolios, including Senator Keg and value spirits, achieving full brewery capacity ahead of schedule. He also managed a national distribution network of 60 partners and a field team of 84, delivering significant market share gains and stronger category performance.
Earlier, Edward was Head of Sales – Spirits and RTC, where he improved distribution effectiveness, strengthened customer partnerships, and enhanced supply performance, gaining a deep understanding of the market and consumer needs. His commercial career also includes regional and global experience with leading international companies, giving him broad exposure to complex and competitive markets.
